They also sell Put-in-Bay souvenirs such as their cute denim shorts with the Put-in-Bay name stitched on the back and baseball hats. Sweet ceramic pieces like coasters and mugs line the shelves.

Gibraltar Island can also be seen from the front steps of Bayview Gifts. This entire region is full of history, namely the War of 1812. Commodore Perry used Gibraltar Island as a lookout point while fighting against the British during the Battle of Lake Erie. Cooke’s Castle, built in the late 1800s as a summer home, is now a National Historic Landmark and an essential part of Put-in-Bay History.
Downtown Put-in-Bay
After shopping at Bayview Gifts, relax over a glass of wine at the nearby Put-in-Bay Winery.
