Fireworks At Put-in-Bay
Holidays are even more special at Put-in-Bay, and the July 4th fireworks are no exception. On this, our national day of independence, the island’s businesses and partners come together to sponsor one of the best fireworks displays on all of Lake Erie. Traditionally, it’s always held on the exact date of July 4th, rain or shine near 10:00 PM You can contact the Put-in-Bay Visitors & Convention Bureau for the most current updates.
Where to Watch the Fireworks
The ariel bombs and rockets are launched from a barge towed out into the middle of the Put-in-Bay and the best viewing locations are always on Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial grounds. The lawn and along the seawall are the most popular. The Boardwalk or The Keys restaurants are a place you can dine while you watch the fireworks show. Be sure to get there early! Music from the Perry’s Visitor Center accompanies the beautiful display. You will want to bring along a few lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on. Ample parking is provided free of charge for your Put-in-Bay Golf Cart.
