Hidden away inside the Boardwalk Restaurant complex, The Little Galley provides quick, affordable eats to families with those picky kids. It cooks up the classic burgers and hot dogs and dishes them out quickly. Stop by for a quick bite or stay a while and grab a drink from the Burgee Bar or Claw Daddy’s and take in the beautiful downtown waterfront and marina views.

Little Galley Particulars

No reason to mess with the classics. The Little Galley serves up hot dogs, chicken tenders, cheeseburgers, french fries, and soft drinks. Their specialty is the Black Angus Burger cooked to order. An extensive list of zesty dipping sauces adds a little extra bolt of flavor to your meal. It is an excellent refueling spot with kids after a full day on Put-in-Bay. The Boardwalk Family of Restaurants

The sprawling Boardwalk waterfront complex provides Put-in-Bay visitors with a full range of restaurants and bars. Besides Little Galley, diners can choose from The Burgee Bar, Claw Daddy’s, The Fish Shack, Rita’s Cantina, and Book’s Seafood. Here you can choose from  Fresh Lake Erie Walleye and Perch sandwiches, Alaskan King Crab, Fresh Grilled Tuna, and Alaskan King Crab Legs. Pets are welcome, and amazing views of the harbor are in every seat at The Boardwalk.

Head upstairs and dine in a more formal atmosphere at the Upper Deck. Known for its famous Lobster Bisque, it also serves up delicious filet mignon steaks, Fresh Lake Erie Perch, and plenty of beer and wine. Craving tequila? Rita’s Cantina Margarita Bar and Deck makes an array of margaritas, and other tropical beverages served with some great Tex-Mex food choices!

Places and things to see around the Little Galley

After a great meal, there are many things to explore near Little Galley. Exit right out of the complex and just a short stroll up the road is Kayak The Bay. Rent a Kayak and tour the shoreline. Training provided and tours are the way to go! Directly up Catawba Street are the two Put-in-Bay Churches. Mother Of Sorrows is on the left side, and the oldest church on the Island St. Pauls is on the right.

If you find yourself needing a few things from a convenience store, the Wharfside is located next door and is also home to a popular bar Topsy Turvey.
