A charming brick building that has been a gift shop and a blacksmith shop now is home to the Old Forge. With plenty of patio seating outdoors and comfortable inside options, it is the best of both worlds. Dine under one of their large outdoor umbrellas and enjoy some people watching at Put-in-Bay. The restaurant Opened in  2012 after three good friends spent time renovating the 120-year-old structure with a lot of sweat and a lot of love.

With four unique menus, The Old Forge Restaurant delivers! Their brunch menu is a great place to start! Open every day at 8 am, this is a perfect place to start your vacation day at Put-in-Bay.

The breakfast crepes are light feather pancakes filled with all kinds of delicious ingredients. Eggs, cheese, and bacon are known as the Classic while the Pecos Bills adds south-of-the-border kick with corn salad and pico de gallo. The “Sophisticated Fancy Pants Crepe”  includes arugula, smoked salmon, a poached egg, and cheese.  Breakfast stalwarts such as Eggs Benedict with prosciutto, Kale salad with goat cheese, burritos, and sliders complete the menu. There are always heart health diet-conscious menu selections on every menu.

Tray a Crazy Sam! It’s stuffed with bacon, cheddar cheese, chicken,  pico de gallo, and topped with cream made with sriracha sauce. Just add a little avocado for a flavor boost. Mimosas, mojitos, and just about any cocktail you desire is expertly prepared by their bar staff. Their signature cocktails include The Forge Martini and the Cosmo Karmer. The Cosmo Kramer knocks on your door with fresh lemon and strawberries and fresh lemon. The famous Forge Bloody Mary is a great way to start brunch, as is a Forge 75! Inside, Outside there is not a bad seat in the house and plenty of fun just people watching!

The Forge Restaurant takes its crepes very seriously! When it’s your namesake, they better be good and boy, oh boy, are they!
