Ritas Cantina meets your cravings for south-of-the-border flavor head on! Located on the Upper Deck of the Boardwalk, the views are as good as the food! Everyone knows where the Boardwalk is, but just in case, it is located right on the harbor near the downtown Put-in-Bay Boat Docks. The view is as good as the ice-cold Margaritas!

Ritas Cantina – Part Of A Family Of Restaurants

The main deck is home to several restaurants, all well priced and suitable for the whole family. Each little restaurant has its own unique food menu and specialties. It’s what makes the Boardwalk Restaurant Complex so special. Each member of the family can opt for their favorite location, and all gather in the main dining room to enjoy! From burgers to Bisque, King Crab Legs to fresh grilled Tuna, there is something for everyone!

The Boardwalk Restaurants

The Boardwalk Family of Restaurants contains multiple restaurants and bars in one well laid out complex. Located right on the harbor downtown, this two-tiered building features some of the best dining views in all of Put-in-Bay. And some of the most delicious food!

The food experiences are endless at The Boardwalk. Ask a local, and the favorite here is most certainly the world-famous Lobster Bisque. Creamy, rich, and delectable, this is lobster bisque at its finest. The Lobster Bisque is available on both the Main and Upper Deck.

Fish Shak

This pleasant spot features fresh Hand-Breaded Lake Erie Perch and Walleye Sandwiches & Baskets. Perch Tacos are a locals’ delight. Giant Onion Rings and fried Shrimp complete the menu. A perfect place to experience the best of Lake Erie. The Fish Shak offers dine-in or to-go service.

Little Galley

A favorite amongst families and boaters, the Little Galley slings Black Angus Burgers, Quarter-pound Hot Dogs, White Meat Chicken Strips and French Fries. Sure to please everyone in your party with a quick, delicious meal. A sure hit for kids!

Book’s Seafood

This place says seafood! At Books, they offer a mouthwatering variety of grilled fish sandwiches and platters, fresh salads, wraps as well as other new shrimp offerings. An excellent place for a seafood salad for lighter fare. Book’s Seafood is also home to gourmet seafood favorites:  HugeAlaskan King Crab, Key West Pink Shrimp Live Maine Lobster, and New Zealand Mussels.

There are two well-stocked bars located right on the main deck. There’s nothing more relaxing than enjoying a glass of wine or an ice-cold beer and gazing out into Lake Erie.

The Burgee Bar

This is the spot for a delicious handmade Frozen or their Signature Riptide Rum Punch! Try a strong Specialty Cocktails or choose from a large selection of craft beer. Entertainment is featured every weekend in June, July, and August across from the bar. This is a lovely place to sit back, relax, and enjoy the view and the entertainment!

Claw Daddy’s

This casual, pleasant bar with a designated smoking section is located right on the water. Claw Daddy’s definitely has one of the best lake views on the island.

The Upper Deck Next To Ritas Cantina

For a more upscale experience, try the Upper Deck upstairs. In 2007 the Boardwalk expanded, and a second-floor added. The Upper Deck delivers some of the best views anywhere on the island. Dine on steaming cup of Lobster Bisque or bowl served in a bread pot! The menu offers equally delicious items from their full menus such as a prime rib, burgers, lobster rolls, and crab and shrimp flatbread. We hear the Lobster Mac & Cheese is to die for! Round out your sophisticated meal with a specialty drink. A full martini menu is also available!
